Her family consisted of three sisters and a brother. Her mother tongue was Hungarian as she often practised the language to stay fluent. Bruckner is an Hollywood California native born to the Hungarian and a Russian father who had divorced from their mother earlier in life she was a child of her German paternal grandparent. The couple met in Hungary and relocated from Hungary to U.S. in 1984 through a refugee camp in Italy. Her siblings are two sisters and one brother.
